Care for Kids
The Care for Kids program is a unique fundraising event that brings together Washington, D.C. area merchants, restaurants and YOU for an unprecedented shopping event! Since 2004, Care for Kids has raised more than $1.5 million dollars with 100% of the proceeds going directly to help children and families at Children’s National.
A Vintage Affair
Experience exquisite wines paired with inspired cuisine at The Board of Visitors’ spring fundraiser, A Vintage Affair. This exciting epicurean adventure gathers wine lovers, foodies and Washingtonians for an evening to remember. A Vintage Affair also features a live and silent auctions with unique and remarkable offerings including rare wines, exotic trips, and one-of-a-kind dining experiences.
Grants
Each fall, hospital caregivers and staff are invited to submit grant applications. Each application is carefully reviewed by The Board of Visitor’s Grants Committee and grantees are notified in early April of The Board’s decision. Funding is made available to the grantee on July 1.
